I’m going to disagree, for the sake of argument as much as anything. The points are well taken. But AirBnb has a huge consistency problem and over time, may or may not sort that out. Its market demand trend will change radically. Today, it’s a room, tomorrow something else. The generation using the product won’t stand still. Uber has a massively consistent product offering. True, San Francisco rides aren’t at the level of New York’s super SUVs, but overall, an Uber is an Uber. The market loves that. So I think it’s a long way from clear either company will be stopped.
